Rabbit check list:
NECESSITIES: If you have never owned a rabbit and need some guidance on getting started here Is a list of necessities and optional items you will need.
1.)A cage or a hutch( look online for more info on a cage or hutch you would like.)
2.)A food bowl
3.)A hay rack
4.)A water bottle (ones for animals.)
5.)nesting box( they can be easily made.)
6.)RABBIT food( w/ 16% protein or higher)
7.)Timothy hay or alfalfa is great.
OPTIONAL:
1.)vitamin supplements ( I use vita-sol which can be found at Petco or Fred Meyers.)
2.)Treats, can vary but do your research on what veggies and fruits to feed your rabbits because rabbits younger than 4 months really should not eat veggies- some fruits are fine. Although when getting RABBIT treats from the pet store I advise getting something like yogurt chips or even little rabbit chew toys are great treats also.
3.)flea and tick spray, I spray my rabbits with flea and tick medication once a month because I do not want my rabbits to get fleas or ticks. It really depends on where the rabbit Is going to live outside or inside.
I HOPE THIS HELPS AND IF YOU ARE STILL IN NEED OF SOME ADVICE ON RABBIT SUPPLIES JUST E-MAIL ME. MY E-MAIL IS ON OUR CONTACT INFO.
